DESCRIPTION:\"KOAR\" can refer to several things\, most commonly the Kew
eenaw Overland Adventure Retreat (an off-roading/camping event in Michigan
	's UP) or KOAR\, LLC\, a real estate investment firm\, but also a Christia
n radio station (KOAR-FM) or even a fantasy deity. The context of where yo
u see \"KOAR\" determines which entity it is\, with the adventure retreat
	being a popular\, active community event. Here's a breakdown:Keweenaw Ove
rland Adventure Retreat (KOAR): An annual event for overlanding enthusiast
	s in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula\, featuring off-road exploration\, camp
ing\, workshops\, and community.KOAR\, LLC: A US real estate company focus
ed on acquiring\, developing\, and managing properties\, particularly indu
	strial\, self-storage\, and mixed-use.KOAR-FM: A contemporary Christian ra
dio station in Searcy\, Arkansas\, part of the Air 1 network.Koar (Mytholo
gy): In the GemStone IV MUD\, Koar is the King of the Gods\, ruling the Ar
kati. If you're seeing it online\, it's likely the popular adventure retr
eat or the real estate firm\; for radio\, it's the station\; and in gaming
\, the deity. Buy Tickets and see more: https://northologyadventures.com/

DESCRIPTION:The Shore to Shore trip is not too far away and we are excit
ed! Thank you so much for joining us on our adventure. This document is y
our informational letter for the weekend. Print it and bring it with you.
Hopefully it will answer most of your questions.Below is the attentive sch
edule for the weekend. It may change a bit because sometimes trail riding
does that. But this is our goal…First things first: The official start o
f the event is Thursday morning (sunrise is at 5:51am)  but we know that
Oscoda is a trek for many. There are also a couple of places to stay in to
wn if you would prefer a bed and bathroom the night before.Hotel suggestio

t have 4 wheel drive! Please take the time to inspect your vehicle before
arriving. Make sure all fluids are full and 4 wheel drive engages properly
. Do you have a spare tire? Does your vehicle require a lug key? Every veh
icle MUST have a tow point front and rear. This could be as simple as a re
ar hitch tow point. We suggest (not required) bringing basic recovery gear
. We always carry a thorough recovery kit and can lend supplies and a help
ing hand to anyone that needs it. We will ask you to air down your tires a
nd will explain more about that at the drivers meeting.CAMPING AND FOOD:Yo
u are responsible for all of your own camping gear and food this weekend.
The temperatures can get into the 40-50’s at night. BE PREPARED! As a ru
le of thumb\, women tend to need sleeping bags that are rated for 20-30 de
grees lower than actual temperatures. Bring a tarp to put on the ground un
der your tent for extra insulation. Air mattresses are not insulated well.
Don’t forget your trail snacks\, picnic lunch\, breakfast and dinner t
hat can be cooked over the fire or at camp. Alcoholic beverages are allowe
d to be enjoyed around the campfire but NOT ON THE TRAIL. Anyone found to
be drinking on the trail will be escorted to the closest town and their ad
venture with Discover 4x4 will come to an end. There will be pit toilets a
