Nicecast not streaming Artist and Song Title

I have run into this a few times when Nicecast stops sending the Song Title and Artist.



Of course I try the obvious things like restarting Nicecast, restarting Shoutcast, rebooting and starting over and nothing works.



Then I discovered it...


Open Finder


Macintosh HD - Users - youruserid - Library - Application Support - Nicecast and delete or rename NowPlaying.txt (if you open the file you will notice its populated with N/A) then restart Nicecast and you should be good to go.
