Mini Brings Back The Oxford Edition For 2027 With A $25,500 Price

Car brands are always changing up their lineups in order to stay competitive in a very crowded automotive industry. The rate of updates has increased; what used to happen every 2 years or so now happens yearly for some automakers.

This also gives them a chance to bring in not only significant updates or upgrades but also specific trim levels that people are asking for. In Mini's case, the 2027 model will see the reintroduction of a beloved variant.

Oxford Edition is Back

Mini is announcing that for the 2027 model year of the Mini Cooper, it will be bringing back the much-loved and popular Oxford Edition. As is the case in the automotive world, production of the 2027 model is already underway, so anyone interested can get the 2027 Mini Cooper as soon as this July of 2026.

The Oxford Edition will return as both a 2-door and a 4-door option. Mini says the return of the Oxford Edition reinforces its position as a leader in the small-car segment. According to the brand, the 2027 Oxford Editions are a blend of style, performance, and value. For 2027, the Oxford Editions will be based on the existing Cooper C models, meaning much of the standard equipment found in the entire Cooper lineup is already included.

Most of the new features added to the Oxford Edition are design updates and a few premium features. These include three new paint options called Sunny Side Yellow, Blazing Blue Metallic, and Nanuq White Metallic. The rims have also been changed to 18-inch Slide Spoke 2-Tone wheels, which Mini says gives the car a more athletic appearance. The Oxford Edition Mini Coopers will be priced at $25,500 (2-door) + destination charges and $26,500 (4-door) + destination charges.

Other 2027 Updates

One piece of good news is that the 2027 Mini Coopers' base prices will remain the same. Adding something new are choices of new Favoured and JCW Style upholstery choices. These are Vescin Beige with Black Knit and Vescin Nightshade Blue with Black Knit, available on Cooper S models, while Vescin Beige with Black Knit is available on JCW 2 Door and Convertible models.

Next, for the JCW models, you can opt for a white roof and mirror caps at no additional cost. Last but not least is Mini has updated the destination charges across the whole lineup to $1,350.
