Someone Parked A Koenigsegg Jesko On Top Of An $86M Yacht In Monaco

(0 reviews)

The streets of Monaco are never short on automotive eye candy, but one recent sighting stood out even by the principality's standards. A green Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut was spotted parked on top of the superyacht Stella Maris during Monaco Grand Prix weekend, creating a scene that could only happen in one of the world's wealthiest playgrounds.

Earlier this year, reports surfaced claiming that a rare Koenigsegg One:1 had been stolen in Monaco, before a subsequent auction listing appeared to dispel those concerns. Now, another Swedish hypercar has captured enthusiasts' attention in the area.

The 2026 Monaco Grand Prix took place on 7 June, with Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli claiming victory ahead of Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Isack Hadjar. While fans packed the Circuit de Monaco to watch the action unfold, many enthusiasts were equally focused on the remarkable collection of cars and yachts gathered around the harbor.

Among the vessels drawing attention was Stella Maris, a 72-meter superyacht that reportedly sold for around €75 million ($86 million) in 2022. Owned by technology entrepreneur Ming Hsieh, the yacht features multiple decks, a certified helipad, luxurious guest accommodation, and quarters for a sizeable crew. Unfortunately, Stella Maris was never designed to transport road cars. Nevertheless, that did not stop the owner of this Jesko Absolut. The hypercar was lifted aboard using a crane and positioned on the yacht's upper deck, where it became an unmistakable focal point overlooking Monaco's famous harbor.

Jaguar

The Jesko Absolut is among the most extreme road cars ever built. Its twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V8 produces up to 1,600 hp when running on E85 fuel, and has a theoretical top speed of more than 310 mph. The Jesko was far from the only automotive curiosity spotted around Monaco. Visitors also caught glimpses of the Jaguar Type 01 and the Audi Nuvolari concept. Even so, few displays captured the Monaco Grand Prix atmosphere quite like a multi-million-dollar Koenigsegg perched atop an eight-figure superyacht.
