To commemorate the one-year anniversary of 6-time Pro Stock world champion Greg Anderson’s historic 1,000th round win at the 2025 Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, the 1000 Round Win Club is sponsoring Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB) for the Thunder Valley Nationals this weekend. Anderson joined John Force as the second member of the 1000 Round Win Club, which is arguably the most exclusive achievement club in motorsports, last year in Bristol when he defeated David Cuadra in the semifinals.

“This is the combination of two of my passion projects, Drag Race Bracket Bonanza and the 1000 Round Win Club,” said DRBB creator and Werner Communications president Elon Werner. “This is the perfect time to celebrate Greg’s amazing accomplishment and tie in one of the most fun fan engagement games in drag racing. Bristol is one of our most popular races for Drag Race Bracket Bonanza and we have some special announcements tied to this sponsorship.”

The 1000 Round Win Club recognizes the elite of the elite in NHRA drag racing. Turning on 1,000 win lights is a testament to more than just longevity, it represents dominance, excellence and perseverance which are the cornerstones of the 1000 Round Win Club.

Anderson and Force each received framed certificates of membership prior to the 2025 NHRA champion’s banquet. The certificates highlighted the spirit of what it means to be a member of the 1000 Round Win Club:

“This remarkable milestone places you amongst the elite of elite in motorsports. The world of motorsports celebrates this achievement with you and your team, as it is a testament to your enduring excellence, perseverance and legendary career.”

Force, who ultimately won 1,460 rounds, was the first driver to achieve this milestone when he won his 1,000th round of NHRA professional racing on May 4, 2008, during the 12th annual O’Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals presented by Castrol at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois. Anderson joined Force when he turned on his 1,000th round win light of NHRA professional racing on June 8, 2025, and to date has won 1,040 rounds.
