The season opening NHRA Gatornationals in Florida was a huge event again in 2026, and the action was hot and heavy. Starting off the 75th anniversary season for NHRA, this race always hits hard and had sold out crowds throughout the weekend. Florida racing fans show up in force, and this year was no different. With every team wanting to hit the ground running, and aiming for as many points as possible this early in the season, the ramifications from this event are huge.
Yeah it’s the first race of the season and that means there is still a lot of racing left, but getting off on the right food can be a real game changer for some of these teams.
