Which Shop Vac Destroyed the Competition? This All Out Shop Vac Test Just Might Suprise You? Which Ones Suck and Don’t Suck?

(0 reviews)

The puns just write themselves when it comes to a Shop Vac testing video. I mean isn’t the point of a shop vac to suck? Anyways, in the video below you’ll find a bunch of your favorite brands, along with some generics you probably never heard of, going head to head in a battle of wet/dry shop vacs. These things are absolutely essential in a workshop whether to clean the car or to clean up messes. I personally think that there are a lot of times when a shop vac is the right too for the job, but we sometimes reach for the broom instead. A good one is critical and because there is no real way to determine if the specs on one are better than the specs on another, it is really hard to know which one you should buy when shopping for a new model.

But here are the real tests. This is how you determine which shop vac is better.

Video Description:

Shop vacuums were tested for their suction power, air volume, and maximum capacity. Additional testing measured the time required to vacuum a full bucket of sand and five gallons of water. Air quality during operation was also assessed, along with a subjective rating for effectiveness when removing sand from carpet. Brands Tested: Shop-Vac, DeWalt, BAUER, Vacmaster, Stanley, Channellock, RIDGID, and CRAFTSMAN.
