A Big K-Pop Festival Is Officially Coming to Australia in 2026

K-pop stans, assemble – a massive new festival is touching down in Australia next year, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest cultural moments Melbourne has ever seen. Global concert giants APPLEWOOD have announced that 안녕, MELBOURNE (“Hello Melbourne”) will take over Flemington Racecourse on March 14, 2026, marking the company’s first-ever major Aussie event.

If the name APPLEWOOD rings a bell, that’s because they’ve literally worked with everyone. We’re talking BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, BAEKHYUN, LE SSERAFIM, GFRIEND, G-DRAGON – basically a who’s-who of K-pop megastars. And now they’re teaming up with Australia’s own Untitled Group – the powerhouse brains behind Beyond The Valley, Wildlands, and every other festival your mates brag about going to – to bring a world-class K-pop experience right to our doorstep.

안녕, MELBOURNE (“Hello Melbourne”)

The festival will showcase APPLEWOOD’s famously cinematic production for the first time on Aussie soil. Considering this is the same team that delivered BLACKPINK’s record-breaking six-night run in Bangkok and staged the Golden Disc Awards for millions of viewers worldwide.

Best part? The lineup drops Friday 12 December at 12pm AEDT, so we don’t have to wait too long.

Since launching in 2013, APPLEWOOD has produced 120+ shows across 18 countries, drawing more than 750,000 fans globally. Their move into Australia – via a major partnership with Untitled Group – is a huge win for local fans hungry for premium K-pop experiences, and a big step toward expanding Asian touring content on our shores.
