Slayyyter Is Bringing The ‘WOR$T GIRL’ Era To Australia This August

Alright pop gremlins, assemble – Slayyyter is officially bringing the chaos Down Under.

Fresh off tearing up the Mojave Stage at Coachella, the self-proclaimed pop disruptor has announced her long-awaited return to Australia with the gloriously unhinged WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD TOUR, set to hit the east coast this August.

Slayyyter – ‘BROKE BITCH FREE$TYLE’

It’ll mark her first Aussie shows in three years, and she’s not exactly easing back into it – we’re talking five headline dates, including a double-up in both Sydney and Melbourne. The run kicks off with back-to-back nights at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on August 9 and 10, before heading to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on August 14, and wrapping with two shows at Melbourne’s Forum on August 17 and 18.

“I’m so excited to finally return to Australia… it means so much to perform WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA with all my fans down under,” she said.

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know Slayyyter’s been deep in her villain era. Her latest album WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA sees her fully lean into the chaos – blending trashy electro-pop, punk attitude and bratty rap into what she’s dubbed “iPod music” for the chronically online. It’s messy, it’s loud, it’s intentionally a bit cooked… and fans are eating it up.

The record debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Dance Albums chart, with singles like ‘BEAT UP CHANEL$’, ‘CANNIBALISM!’ and ‘CRANK’ helping build a cult-level hype train = not to mention the freshly dropped ‘BROKE BITCH FREE$TYLE’ keeping the momentum rolling.

Since her early viral days (“Daddy AF” gang rise up), Slayyyter’s carved out a lane that’s equal parts hyperpop, throwback club trash and high-gloss grit – and this tour feels like the fully realised version of that energy.

Tickets go on sale Friday May 8 at 10am local time, with presales kicking off earlier that week.
