  14. We’ve all traded or sold a car or truck and then regretted it. Sometimes that regret is as soon as the deal is done and sometimes it takes a week or month or year to realize that you just shouldn’t have gotten rid of that one. I wish I hadn’t bought a couple of cars and trucks in my life, and definitely wish I had kept a few. What about you? In the video below you are going to see Derek work some magic so he can get one back that he wished he never got rid of, and as importantly one that Jessica didn’t want him to get rid of. So how is he going to get this old machine back? He’s trading a standard cab square body dually that we all love! But it needs work so it can drive 800 miles north for the swap. In typical Derek fashion there will be adventures. Video Description: Many moons ago, a guy put together a neat little rig. My wife Jessica and I really enjoyed the car, but we ended up sending it down the road. Ultimately, we both missed the car and wished we hung onto it. Fast forward some more moons, the opportunity came up to trade back for it! So, I saddled up the Diesel Dually, and we’re embarking on a 1,600 mile road trip to get it back! 15. Everyone thinks of a Vega as being super small, because it was a compact car back in the day, and that an Impala is super huge because at the time they really were and especially when compared to a Vega. So how did these cars perform in crash testing back then? Cars had nearly no safety features in comparison to today’s compact cars and family sedans, but were considerably better than cars built 20 years before. These two are crashed into each other, under very precise control, at 47 mph for the Vega and 48 for the Impala, for a combined total of 95 mph. Can you imagine crashing one of these into a block wall at 95? Me either. But watch, because the carnage is amazing.
