The Bee Returns... To Lose Ram has brought back its Rumble Bee sport truck for the 2027 model year, this time as a trio of V8-powered vehicles ranging from 395 to 777 horsepower. There hasn't been a production Rumble Bee since 2005, not counting a concept truck in 2013, and so this is a pretty big deal. Aside from the TRX, which also makes its return this year, buyers haven't been able to get a 6.2-liter Hellcat engine in any other Ram models.

Toyota is conducting a safety recall for four models due to a defect with the 12.3-inch combination meter display. In total, 82,000 vehicles in the U.S. are involved in this recall, which underlines the downsides of common digital displays in modern vehicles. In this case, the driver’s display could become blank when the car is started, which could prevent the driver from seeing critical warnings/indicators. It’s not the first time that thousands of Toyota models have been recalled for a similar

According to a report by The Supercar Blog, the next Bug will be a mix of the Tourbillon and the Bolide, Bugatti's track-only hypercar based on the Chiron. With the outrage around Ferrari’s radical EV beginning to settle, attention is shifting toward a more important question: why would a company so obsessed with heritage deliberately unveil something so divisive? For a marque built on timeless proportions, racing pedigree, and emotional design, the decision appears counterintuitive. Yet Ferrari is not operating in isolation. Across the luxury automotive space, flagship EVs such as Jaguar’s Type 001, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, and the Lucid

A Gas-Powered Twist? One of the latest shifts in the car industry is that some automakers are bringing back combustion powertrains, with Ram reviving the 1500 TRX and its Hemi V8. However, market preferences still vary, with the U.S. remaining more receptive to combustion-powered performance vehicles than some other regions. That raises the question of whether the production version of the Audi Concept C, seen as the spiritual successor to the TT, could get a combustion powertrain to cater to Am

The Toyota Century SUV, conceived as the absolute pinnacle of Japanese automotive luxury—traditionally reserved for emperors, prime ministers, and top-tier executives—represents a masterclass in quiet, understated opulence. In its home market of Japan, Toyota positions the Century brand as a direct competitor to Western ultra-luxury icons, slapping the Century SUV with a starting price of roughly $169,900. But take that same vehicle, filter it through the complex reality of Russia’s automotive g

Many of the things that we car fanatics associate with Ferrari are either long gone or on their last legs. Elegance and exoticism are fading with the introduction of the Luce EV, manual transmissions are nowhere in the lineup, and only the 12Cilindri still has a V12 engine. It's also the only naturally aspirated product in Ferrari's range, but if a new report from The Supercar Blog is accurate, Maranello's finest will be introducing a new free-breathing V12-powered offering with a manual gearbox

Save the V8s The old adage of 'there's no replacement for displacement' is becoming more and more difficult to apply these days. Downsized turbos have become commonplace, effectively replacing displacement, and the same could be said about hybridization. V12s are on thin ice, and V8s, while not (yet) endangered, are a threatened species. At least there are conservation efforts to keep V8s around for longer. For starters, cars that were previously offered with 12 cylinders are going for V8s. Amer

Bronco Owners Know The Routine One of the Ford Bronco’s major selling points, much like the Jeep Wrangler’s, is its open-air driving experience, which allows owners to remove the hard top and doors. But even though the process is designed to be fairly straightforward, at least for the roof, switching to the open-air configuration can still be a hassle. Now, Ford appears to be exploring ways to simplify the process after filing two patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark O

A New Kind Of Toyota Toyota enters new territory in 2026 as the 2027 GR GT halo sports car goes on sale with a price tag of over $225,000 (final price not announced). Ford is being sued by the owner of a Transit Trail for allegedly not meeting the van’s advertised off-road capabilities. Revealed in 2022, the Ford Transit Trail comes with a 3.5-inch lift, standard all-wheel drive with Slippery and Mud driving modes, plus the brand’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. These features, together with 30.5-inch Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse all-terrain tires, promised a practical van that could much more comfortably be driven off-road. But Ford’s troubles started with a recall i

The Ultimate Range Rover Arrives The new Range Rover SV Ultra is now available in JaguarLand Rover’s U.S. configurator. For those unfamiliar, it is the most luxurious take on the Range Rover yet, pushing the SUV further into ultra-luxury territory with exclusive styling and unique features, including a state-of-the-art sound system. Unlike the Range Rover SV Black, the flagship Range Rover SV Ultra focuses more on creating a lounge-like luxury experience than making the SUV sportier. Martin Limp

From the moment the Lamborghini Temerario debuted, there has been constant speculation about whether it will follow the lead of its Huracán predecessor and share its powertrain and chassis with Audi for a new R8 supercar, and in 2026, the signs that it will do just that are becoming clearer and clearer. During a media roundtable this month, Audi CEO Gernot Döllner was asked about a third-gen R8, and not only did he mention the Temerario's redline without any encouragement, indicating he knows it

Honda’s Only Truck Is Taking a Break The Honda Ridgeline has always played by its own rules in the American truck market. It’s one of the last unibody pickups left, sharing that distinction with the Ford Maverick. While most rivals like the Toyota Tacoma and Ford Ranger stick to body-on-frame construction, the Ridgeline goes the other way, prioritizing crossover-like comfort while still delivering the utility expected of a midsize truck. That approach has earned the Ridgeline a loyal following,

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and Consumer Reports have collaborated to find the best and safest new vehicles for teenagers. As teens have a higher driver risk profile due to inexperience, the two authorities only selected vehicles with lower horsepower relative to weight, and those with good safety ratings. Hyundai and Mazda have the most models in the recommended list, but cars from Toyota, Ford, Honda, Kia, Nissan, Subaru, and Volkswagen also made an appearance. Here's a l

Import Tariffs Tariffs have been the center of the automotive world for the past year. The current administration, in a bid to protect American-made cars and production facilities that give more jobs, raised tariffs on cars imported into the country. While the "Trump Tariffs" have eventually been accepted and worked around, there are still looming threats to certain brands stemming from new decisions and production plans.

Revamped Seltos Arriving Soon The 2027 Kia Seltos is arriving this summer with a boxier design, more tech, and a step up in overall feel compared to the outgoing model. Autoblog had the chance to drive it in South Korea, and it was clear that the Seltos has grown up. The cabin materials are better, the back seat is more practical, and the hybrid quietly stands out if you care about efficiency. However, we still don’t know how much the 2027 Seltos will cost. Fortunately, CarsDirect got a hold of

As the best-selling three-row SUV in America, the Explorer is a key model in Ford’s lineup, outselling even more modern rivals like the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade. The day after Ferrari unveiled its first-ever electric vehicle, it is becoming quite clear that the Luce is the most controversial production car in Maranello’s history. It’s not just the fact that it’s battery electric; the design is also very uncharacteristic for the brand. It looks so unlike any other Ferrari in history that you’d be hard pressed to recognize it as a Ferrari if you stripped away the prancing horse badges. What’s more, the starting price of around $640,000—much higher than th

Smoke Show At Triple-Digit Speeds Remember Hennessey Performance’s Dodge Challenger Demon 1700 project, which, as the name suggests, is claimed to produce a staggering 1,700 horsepower? Well, the car recently underwent its final validation test drive, and according to driver and company president Alex Roys, it laid down a rolling burnout at 100 mph. Doing a burnout from a standstill already puts a lot of stress on components like the engine and transmission, so pulling one off at 100 mph takes e

Muscle car fans want one thing and one thing only from Dodge: to bring back the HEMI V8-powered Charger. It looks like their wish is about to be granted as Dodge’s parent company Stellantis last week showed no fewer than 20 new cars to select U.S. media outlets, and a HEMI V8 Charger was among these models that are slated to debut by 2030. While Dodge has hinted several times at the return of the HEMI Charger, this is the first concrete evidence that the new Charger is indeed getting the automak

Fans of the Tesla Model 3 were offered more excitement when the Model 3 Performance launched, but they've never been given a full-on Plaid variant like the Model S. That may soon change if Tesla Vice President of Vehicle Engineering, Lars Moravy, gets his way. Speaking on the Ride the Lightning podcast recently, he said that a tri-motor Model 3, or Model 3 Plaid, effectively, is something that he's constantly turning over in his head. "I think about it all the time," he said when asked if a thir

Giga Texas Confirmed For Roadster Production The Roadster 2.0 has fresh rumors nearly a decade after its announcement. It debuted alongside the Tesla Semi, a truck still missing after eight years of delays while rivals race ahead. Elon Musk promised an April re-unveiling, but June approaches with no prototypes in

The first-ever all-electric Ferrari has debuted as the Luce, and its design is somehow even more controversial than the electric powertrain. The online configurator is already live, and to see if we could find a spec that isn't egregious, we looked at all the options, of which there are several. In fact, there are 35 colors on offer, several carbon fiber additions, and two wheel designs (23-inch in front and 24-inch at the rear, the largest ever fitted to a Ferrari). You can also choose to add F

The latest Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe was revealed last week, and it's become an EV with wonky styling. Larte Design has been hard at work on its predecessor, which still has a V8, and the tuning outfit has made it look just as wild, albeit in a completely different manner. The company has unveiled its new Signature 12-piece dry carbon body kit for the 2024-2026 AMG GT 4-Door, and because the hardware mounts where Mercedes has already created holes, the entire kit not only fits well but can al
